Academy Park is fortunate to have a family center that is open to all parents Mon-Thurs from 8:30-12:30. Idaliz Romero does a wonderful job of getting information and resources to parents. Principal’s Message: Reading Is Important
Classroom teachers and the PTA are working together to encourage additional reading outside school. The PTA is currently sponsoring the Jazz Reading program which runs through mid-February. The top schools receive a jazz player’s assembly and ice cream bars for the entire school. Our school won this reward six years ago and it was a fun experience.
