During the school year, Hunter Junior High is proud to offer an extensive after school program for students to receive additional help/time to complete homework assignments as well as to apply their learning in a variety of activities.

No After School Program on Monday, September 25 and Tuesday, September 26 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. Come meet with your student’s teachers from 4-7 pm.
Once a month, teachers are required to be in Faculty meeting, so on those dates, there will only be Homework Club/Crafts in the library from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Those dates are as follows: Monday, September 11; Thursday, October 12; Tuesday, November 14; Tuesday, December 12; Tuesday, January 9; Monday, February 5; Tuesday, March 13; Tuesday, April 10; Tuesday, May 8.
Hunter Junior High held its second annual Summer Program this year. The students that participated enjoyed going on field trips to help expand options for their futures. The theme was College and Career Readiness. The incoming 7th grade students from Whittier was invited this year to participate. It was well attended and a great success!
