October 19, 2021
Hello Orchard Families,
Fall Break will take place on Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will be a short day. Students return to school on Tuesday, October 26. That week we will focus on making healthy choices for Red Ribbon Week. Your students can participate by dressing up:
Monday – No School
Tuesday, October 26 – Wear Red Clothes
Wednesday, October 27 – Crazy, hair, hats, and socks
Thursday, October 28 – Wear Pajamas
Friday, October 29, Halloween Costumes
Friday, October 29 at 9:00 a.m. we are having our Halloween Parade. The parade will be held outside this year. The driveway will be blocked off at 8:45 a.m. for an hour so the students can walk along the side and top sidewalks safely. Parade watchers will be sitting on the grass or in the driveway, so plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Please remember because the parade is taking place outside, you will want to make sure that you and your child are dressed for the weather. (In the event of rainy or snowy weather, the parade will be cancelled.) Students should come to school wearing their costumes and ready for the parade. Also, remember that no masks or weapons (real or pretend) are allowed for students or parents, and they should all adhere to the school dress code.
Some teachers may have classroom parties after the parade. Because of COVID they may or may not have volunteers to help with the party. Please check with your child’s teacher before October 29 to see if they need help. We will only allow those who are helping with the parties to be inside the building.
Thank you for sending your children to Orchard Elementary!

Martes, Octubre 26 – Usar ropa roja
Miércoles, Octubre 27 – Pelo, loco, gorra y calcetines
Jueves, Octubre 28 – Usar pijamas
