“What is truly remarkable about the social sciences is its interdisciplinary of existing. By being involved in the social sciences, you can intertwine statistical data with sociology in order to create social policy. By having been heavily involved in the social sciences, my life has changed drastically as I have been turned into a more culturally aware individual. Each time a different news story occurs, I’m able to critically analyze it and come to a deeper understanding of the underlying causes. It is thanks to the social sciences that I am able to connect with other people by understanding their struggles and thus I’m able to truly come to appreciate what they contribute to the world.”
