August 14, 2017School NewsThe first day of school, August 21st, coincides with a solar eclipse that will be visible throughout the country. Salt Lake City will experience about 90 percent of a total eclipse, which allows for a wonderful opportunity for students to witness a very rare event. All of our teachers have been provided age appropriate curriculum to teach their students about the significance of a solar eclipse. In addition, we have safety glasses for students to use if they would like to view it. Participation is of course optional and measures will be in place to assure kids eyes are viewing the eclipse in a safe manner. We hope this will make your child’s first day of school even more exciting! If you have any questions, please call the office.
