Book Fairs usually coincide with SEP conferences in September and February. Schedule, set up, get volunteers to work, clean up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bulletin Board<\/strong>: Help keep the PTA bulletin board current<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Field Day<\/strong>: Organize this one day event the last week of the school year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fundraising<\/strong>: Help organize and carry out our annual PTA Fundraiser<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maturation Program<\/strong>:&nbsp;One day in the Spring for 5th Grade students. Schedule speakers, make fliers, refreshments, clean-up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Junior Achievement:<\/strong>&nbsp;One day in the Fall.&nbsp;Organize volunteers to teach in each of the classrooms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Red Ribbon<\/strong> <strong>Week<\/strong>:&nbsp;One week in October, usually the week before Halloween. Organize activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reflections<\/strong>:&nbsp;October and November. Advertise, get paperwork out to students, collect projects and correct paperwork. Arrange for judging and send winners on to next level. Purchase awards for participants. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Road to Success Reading Program: <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Skyhawk Spirit Awards:<\/strong> Weekly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spanish Translation<\/strong>: Help us translate anything we send home<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Teacher Appreciation<\/strong>: SEP dinners (September and February) and Teacher Appreciation Week (May)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vision Screening<\/strong>: One day in October. Organize paper work and volunteers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Winter Family Night<\/strong>: One day in December.
