Hello Viking Students and Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back and Happy New Year! I truly hope everyone had a fabulous break and was able to recharge and spend time with those you love.
TONIGHT is Bonneville Junior Night at the Cottonwood Basketball Game. All Bonneville students can enter the game for FREE WITH THEIR STUDENT ID! The game begins at 7:00, but Cottonwood is hosting a Pre-Game Party with food, drinks, games, and face paint that begins at 6:00. Wear your purple and come show your support for Cottonwood Basketball!
A HUGE congratulations to our MESA students at Bonneville! Ms. Ferguson and Mr. DeMille are the MESA advisors this year and our team is off to a great start. The first competition challenge was “Cleopatra’s Barge” where students built tinfoil boats and stacked as many pennies as possible before sinking. Bonneville teams took both 2nd and 3rd place! The second competition challenge was to build a “Straw Tower.” Bonneville placed 1st! These competitions include over 70 entries and our MESA students are doing fantastic. Keep up the great work.
Next week students will only have school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Wednesday is the end of quarter 2. Please check your student’s grades regularly and help them finish this quarter strong. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 17th to begin quarter 3.
Thanks for your continued support. Have a great weekend!
