Bonneville Junior High has been serving the Holladay/Murray area for over 60 years (established 1964). We have a rich tradition of student success academically as well as social/emotionally. We look forward to serving your student in the near future!
To enroll at Bonneville Junior High, please refer to the following 3 steps:
Step 1: Visit the Granite School District School Search Website to determine if you live in our school’s boundaries. You will input the address listed on the city utility, rental agreement, and/or mortgage.
Step 2. Resident in Bonneville Jr Boundaries
Follow “New Student Enrollment” instructions below. Welcome to Bonneville Junior High School!
Step 2. Non-resident of Bonneville Jr Boundaries
Please complete the Open Enrollment Application online. You will receive an email response within 48 hours to the status of your application. Here are the guidelines for the Granite School District Open Enrollment policy.
If your permit is accepted, please follow “New Student Enrollment” instructions below. Welcome to Bonneville Junior High School!
Step 3. New Student Enrollment
- go to www.bonnevillecounseling.weebly.com to set up a BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS: NEW STUDENT appointment. Plan on an hour for this appointment.
- Bring all required documents to this appointment.
- Your meeting will begin with Mrs. Erickson in the Attendance Office.
- Documents may also be faxed to 385.646.5127 or emailed to mwerickson@graniteschools.org at least 2 days before your appointment date.
- Documents needed to register:
- Student’s Birth Certificate
- Identification (parent or guardian’s driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- Proof of Residency (utility bill or copy of mortgage statement or lease agreement)
- Immunization Records (For list of required immunizations, please go to the Utah Health Department.)
- Fee Waiver Information (previous years tax returns or 2 recent pay stubs, or social security benefits statement, etc.)
- If a student is receiving services outside the regular classroom, the school will need the current IEP &/or 504 before a student may be enrolled.
- Create a parent account in FOCUS and complete the online registration process. This includes completing any documents such as free and reduced lunch, and fee waiver applications. These are found on myschoolapps.com
- Meet with a school counselor to discuss your student’s individual needs and create a schedule.
