February 1, 2022Principal's Message

I had a chance this week to talk to all of our students about setting a goal for the new semester. I said to them that I believe that every single student in our building is incredible and that Churchill’s main focus is to make them even stronger. I know Churchill does this. The goals that our students write are proof that we have not just future leaders but leaders now.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING

Churchill believes in making a difference. We will be fundraising for the Souper Bowl of Caring from January 31st to February 10th. Did you know that there are more than 8,000 students in the Granite School District living at or below the poverty level? Sadly, many of them don’t eat at home on weekends, holidays and school breaks. In previous years Churchill has had some of the highest fundraising in the district.  The most money we have raised is 6000 dollars. This year we want to go for the gold and have set a goal for 7000 dollars.

Please help us achieve this! We accept donations in food or money. However, money has more power since 1 dollar given to the foundation can be used to purchase 7 cans of food.

Please donate! The link for donations can be found here: https://www.successfund.com/sboc2022churchill

Robotics club

Robotics club will be starting up in February. Applications will be available this week. Please check for the applications on our website under clubs and students will receive one in their no study/no credit 8th period class on Canvas.

Chess Club

Chess Club is back, with coach Matt, come join us Friday ! The Chess Club will meet every Friday we have school @ 12:30-1:30 in the cafeteria.

OPEN ENROLLMENT:

Open enrollment applications are now being accepted until February 18th, 2022. Churchill is amazing because of the amazing families and students that attend here. Please tell friends and family members that live outside of our boundaries about enrolling.

Wrestling coach needed

We are desperately looking for a wrestling coach. If you are interested or know of anyone that may be interested please email ccbrimley@graniteschools.org.
