March 28, 2022Principal's Message

Please read below for important information for 4th quarter.

I wanted to take a moment and promote how important the 4th quarter is for student success. The RISE test and other tests will be given this quarter. Those test results are imperative so that we or Skyline are placing your student appropriately and developing the best school programs to address your students needs. Please see the testing schedule below

There are some massively important ways you can help:

  1. Attendance- Please do all you can to send your student on time and everyday to school. Anything you can do to avoid interruption in their learning is going to have strong impacts. We have had a big increase in students being absent. The pandemic taught us without a doubt that for 99 percent of our students there is no better place or way to learn than in the classroom.
  2. Promote to your student the importance of this quarter and the importance of trying their hardest on these tests. Small things done in every class have big results over time (being on time, reading the question several times, engaging in class discussions, turning assignments in on time, etc)

Testing Schedule:

March 28th- March 31st – 8th grade RISE writing test

May 11th- 19th – RISE testing for Math, Science and English (all grades)

Talent show success!

We got a showcase of how much talent we have in this building. It takes guts to share a talent and we are proud of all our students in our talent show this week. Our teachers even did a little dance. Way to go Churchill!

Don’t miss our evening music performance this Wednesday:

5:30pm Instrumental and Choir, 7pm Band
