Hello Fabulous SECONDARY FAMILIES!
Are you looking for a fun way to encourage your middle school or high school child’s reading this summer? Look no further – we have created the summer resource for you!
How does it work?
This Summer Learning website has links to learning activities that your secondary child can do daily throughout the summer. The idea is for your teen to read daily (Bingo) for 30 minutes, work on vocabulary (Free Rice) for 5 minutes, and work on comprehension (Reading Theory) for 5-10 minutes. Next, they can choose an online math activity below to practice math for 10-15 min. Lastly, you’ll find science videos, articles, and/or lessons for them to explore each week. Jump in and have fun working with your teen through the different activities!
