CEREMONY BEGINS AT 1:00 pm
Huntsman Center at the University of Utah
- ARRIVAL/PARKING
- Arrive at the Huntsman Center no later than 12 noon and report to the west tunnel. Click here for a map.
- Pick up reader card and get in line South of the West Tunnel. (Olympus will be exiting to the North)
- DRESS
- Dress nice
- No Extras on Caps (they will not be allowed on the floor)
- Only approved cords/collars are allowed during the graduation ceremony.
- LEI’S: candy leis are not allowed but all other leis are allowed during the ceremony.
- PROHIBITED ITEMS FOR GRADUATES AND GUESTS
- Alcohol
- Artificial noisemakers (including air horns)
- Confetti*
- Silly string*
- Glitter*
- *Families will be charged $250 if CONFETTI, SILLY STRING, AND/OR GLITTER is released inside or out of The Huntsman Center
- Balloons
- Candy Leis
- Fireworks
- Glass Bottles
- Signs
- Weapons
- Purses/Bags
- Food & drink (1 bottle of water allowed)
- Stroller
- CAP, GOWN, DIPLOMAS COVERS, & DIPLOMAS
- Cap, gown, and diploma cover will be handed out Friday, May 27, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm in the breeze way of the auditorium.
- Student must be cleared before receiving cap & gown
- Please take all Graduation PICTURES WITH GOWN PRIOR TO CEREMONY
- Gown return will be immediately after ceremony on June 2, when exiting the Huntsman Center.
- Diploma will be picked up immediately following the return of gown
- PICTURES
- Permitted anywhere but on the floor of the Huntsman Center.
- No parents/family/friends in tunnel or on the floor of the Huntsman Center.
- ALL PICTURES IN GRADUATION GOWN WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN PRIOR TO THE CEREMONY. GOWNS WILL BE RETURNED AS STUDENTS EXIT THE HUNTSMAN CENTER
