Dear Driggs Community,
As you have heard by now, our school will be continuing distance and digital learning for the remainder of the school year. This leaves many of you with questions about how grades will be compiled for the fourth quarter.
Student scores will be compiled into Gradebook each week. At the end of the fourth quarter students will be issued a PASS or INCOMPLETE grade for the 4th quarter of the 2019-2020 school year. To check Gradebook from home please see the attached documents at the end of this post.
*In place of the grades above, families may request that a proficiency level in Gradebook be posted on the student’s records. This request needs to be made in writing and delivered to the front office of the school, or via email to the principal (firstname.lastname@example.org). This request may be made any time during the 4th quarter, or any time after the final grades are posted.
Students with an Incomplete will have until October 22, 2020, to improve their 4th quarter grade to a Pass. Otherwise, the incomplete will change to a zero.
Citizenship scores will not be entered for the 4th quarter.
For some extra distance learning support feel free to call the school. The Granite District Distance Learning site has many tools and tips for accessing materials from home. The Wonders section is very helpful.
