On a local level, being a member of the Eastwood PTA shows your support for our efforts to supplement and enhance our school\u2019s environment. &nbsp;It also gives you a voice in our PTA programs and events throughout the year.&nbsp; At the state and national level, being a member of the PTA shows your support for the State and National PTA and their advocacy efforts for children&#8217;s rights and education. Their efforts are noticed during our legislative sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/eastwood.memberhub.com\/store\/items\/873773\">Eastwood PTA &#8211; Become a Member! Without the community\u2019s support, the PTA simply could not run these events and programs year after year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are a few ways you can be involved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Join the Eastwood Elementary PTA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend events at the school<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in school activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support fundraisers\/make a donation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteer on a committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Head a committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as a board member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastwoodptautah.com\/get-involved\">Eastwood PTA &#8211; Get Involved! (url)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Donations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to all the hard work our volunteers do for us, we are also extraordinarily lucky to have a financially generous community. Without the funds donated to the PTA, we could not do all of the events or support Eastwood&#8217;s programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not only do funds donated to the PTA support our events and programs they also supplement other things throughout the school, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SOAR Store prizes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classroom supplies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Library books<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Playground supplies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Art supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to prior generosity, buddy benches, harmonic flowers, and chimes were added to our playgrounds. In addition, the PTA paid for a science specialist for Eastwood from 2017 through 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eastwood.memberhub.com\/store\/items\/45889\">Eastwood PTA &#8211; Donation Link!
