We have had a lot of questions about checking out Chromebooks for use on Fridays for distance learning. We do not have enough Chromebooks for every student to take one home, so if your student has access to a computer at home, you do not need to check out a Chromebook for your student.
If your student needs a Chromebook for Friday distance learning, there are three ways you can check one out from our library. Please check your email or our website for more information about how to check out a Chromebook. You are responsible for the replacement cost (up to $260.00) of the Chromebook if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
1) You can fill in the top and bottom line on the attached form, print, sign and send with your student to school tomorrow. They will go during their English class to the library and check out their chromebook.
2) If you are not able to print the form, you can fill in the top and bottom line and email the completed form to mingram@graniteschools.org. Tell your student that you have completed and emailed the form. They will go during their English class to the library and check out their chromebook tomorrow.
3) You can come into the library during the school day tomorrow or on Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. You must wear a mask and remember to social distance. Enter the school on the NORTH side by the flagpole and go directly to the media center.
