Open Enrollment Begins

Parents who would like for their student to attend a school that is different from their assigned boundary school can apply for an Open Enrollment Special Permit from December 1st until the third Friday in February in order to transfer for the following school year. Permits are accepted on a first come/first served basis contingent on school capacity, special program limitations, staff availablility, and/or circumstances under 53A-2-207(4)(c). If the request is granted, parents or guardians are responsible for transportation to and from the requested school and students are expected to remain at the requested school for the entire school year.
