Dear Evergreen Parents and Students,
Hello and welcome back from Winter Break! A few things we want to keep you aware of as the end of the semester fast approaches.
END OF TERM: The end of the term is next week! Most teachers will have assignments available until January 11th (some are setting assignment deadlines for January 8th). This means that majority of assignments will be due by Monday, January 11th. PLEASE log into the Parent or Student Portal and review grades. It is vital for students to keep up on their grades and to get as much done as possible over the next few days. There are only SIX school days left!
END OF TERM WEEK: As a reminder, Granite School District has added a few extra teacher workdays the week of January 11th to January 15th. Here is a link to the updated calendar:

This is what the week of January 11th-January 15th will look like:
Monday: IN PERSON LEARNING DAY
Tuesday: Distance Learning Day
Wednesday: Teacher Workday-No work from students.
Thursday: Teacher Workday-No work from students.
Friday: Teacher Workday-No work from students.
NEW SEMESTER: On January 19th, our new semester begins! This means that students schedules will be changing. If you would like to check out your new schedule simply log into the Granite portal, click Student Schedules, then click on Year. Under Semester 2 you will see your new schedule. Having a hard time reading your schedule? Check out our Instagram videos for an (older) explanation! (The video IS geared towards first semester so please keep in mind your lunch schedule may be different.)
NEW YEAR: As we launch into 2021, we ask that you talk with your Evergreen students about their goals and plans for second half of the year. We are excited to help them reach those goals as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey.
AND FINALLY, thank you again for donating your cereal a few weeks ago. Not only were we able to fill the Millcreek and Olympus pantries, but we were able to take all the leftover cereal to Lincoln Elementary and service them as well! Our Evergreen Community is phenomenal!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
