This includes new students and returning students. If you registered for Kindergarten in the spring, you&#8217;re registration is complete. <strong>Parents of returning students can register online through the parent portal, beginning Monday, July 29th at 8 am.  New students must register in person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you go through the process, please read through this document for instructions and answers to questions: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.graniteschools.org\/infosystems\/online-re-enrollment\/\">Registration\/Re-enrollment Help<\/a>. The process involves creating a Parent Portal, adding your student(s) to the account, and then registering them online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To register online, you will visit <a href=\"http:\/\/focus.graniteschools.org\/\">Focus<\/a> and follow the above instructions to register your students. Please call us at 385-646-4828 if you have questions or need your student\u2019s number!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Student Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are new to Fox Hills, please visit us during normal office hours between 8\/5 and 8\/9, 8am to 4pm.  If you are struggling to register your student online, you are also welcome to come into the office at this time for help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parents of <strong>new students<\/strong> will fill out a registration card and will also need to provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Child&#8217;s original birth certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parent&#8217;s\/Legal Guardian&#8217;s photo ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Child&#8217;s immunization record including: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 DTP\/DTap\/DT Diptheria\/Pertussis\/Tetanus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 IPV\/OPV Polio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 MMR, Measles\/Mumps\/Rubella<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 Hepatitis B<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Hepatitis A<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Varicella (chickenpox)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of address\/residency in the name of a parent (dated within 3 months)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>bill\/offical mail with your name and address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lease Agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mortgage Agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notarized &#8220;Affirmation of Residency&#8221; form (available in the office)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open Enrollment and Special Permits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you reside outside of our boundaries, you are welcome to apply for a special permit. If you are interested in applying for late enrollment for 2024-2025, click on <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdtAm7Hw8XikN0KDNUs3pgQGdURVyepT-uHC-dQPnIW500-bA\/viewform\">2026-2027 Open Enrollment Application<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Learning Through Granite Online Live<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year online learning for elementary schools will be available through<a href=\"http:\/\/www.graniteschools.org\/graniteonline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Granite Online Live<\/a>. Families wishing to participate in Granite Online Live will need to meet with Mr. Carlsen or Mrs. Hommes to discuss the online option and requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Online Live option features live virtual classes taught during specific timeframes during the school day. Instruction includes live virtual interaction with teachers, lectures, discussions, Q&amp;A sessions, and feedback for students during class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Classes take place in real-time during the school day (synchronous). Lessons are presented live, and students must log in every school day as if they were attending an in-person class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Core courses that meet all academic requirements are provided, along with a selection of elective courses. Honors and specialty courses are not available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students are assigned to Granite Online teachers and staff. K-8 classes are NOT taught by teachers from the student\u2019s home boundary school. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students in grades K-8 are enrolled full-time; their entire school experience takes place online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All students need to register at the beginning of each school year.
