The focus of Title I schools is to help students achieve proficiency on core standards, closing academic gaps that may exist. These efforts include providing targeted supports to at-risk students, building teachers' capacity through professional development, and strengthening parents' abilities in helping their children succeed.<\/p>\n\n \n

We are committed to fostering meaningful, ongoing partnerships with families to support student learning and success. Our school community represents a rich diversity of cultures, languages, and individual student needs, and we value the unique contributions of every family. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in school life by volunteering, collaborating with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and attending School Community Council meetings.<\/p>\n Effective communication between home and school is essential to student success. Our goal is for all parents and guardians to be connected with their child\u2019s classroom teacher through ClassDojo. Most school communications will be shared via ClassDojo. In addition, families are encouraged to establish an email account and register through the Granite School District Portal to monitor student academic progress and receive important updates from both the district and the school.<\/p>\n Families are invited to participate in our monthly Family Engagement events throughout the school year. During these events, educators will share games, tools, resources, and strategies to help parents partner with the school in supporting their children\u2019s academic goals at home. Parents and guardians of students in kindergarten through second grade will also have the opportunity to attend workshops twice each year focused on Take-Home Learning Kits. These workshops provide guidance on using literacy and math activities at home to reinforce classroom learning.<\/p>\n Granger Elementary values the input of parents and community members and regularly seeks feedback as part of our commitment to continuous improvement. Families are encouraged to share their ideas and perspectives on school engagement practices and to serve as active participants and decision-makers in the development of school-wide initiatives. Opportunities for involvement include participation in the PTA, attendance at School Community Council meetings, volunteering at the school, attending Student Education Plan (SEP) conferences, and joining school-sponsored evening events. Parents and community members will receive invitations to participate in stakeholder feedback surveys throughout the year via formal emails or ClassDojo messages. This plan is data-driven, evidence-based, and responsive to findings from data reviews, needs assessment findings, and stakeholder input. The school comprehensive Title I plan articulates how evidence-based strategies, action steps and milestones will support the goals listed below.<\/p> At least 36% of ML students will meet target growth as measured by the 2024\/2025 WIDA assessment as compared with 34% in 2023\/2024 <\/span><\/p>\n 90% of PLCs will meet at least 4 times each month, prepared each meeting with agendas, student data to review, and following a data protocol for the purpose of problem solving student learning on standards.<\/span><\/p>\n By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, there will be a 3% reduction in the overall number of office referrals compared to the number that occurred during the 2024-2025 school year resulting in no more than 194 students receiving an office referral during 2025-2026.<\/span><\/p>\n During the 2025-2026 school year, the percentage of students experiencing chronic absenteeism (missing at least 10 days) will decrease by 3% to 28% compared to 31% in 2024-2025.<\/span><\/p>\nBack to Index<\/a> 2025-2026<\/p>\n Dear Parent or Guardian,<\/p>\n Granger Elementary is not in Sanctioned Status.
