Dear Granite Park families,
Congratulations to our choir students who did excellent in the festival this week, earning a 1- on their numbers–and excellent score!
Our drama students performed an amazing school musical last week. Their production of High School Musical Junior was fun for parents, students, and our incoming 7th graders to see this week. Great job Grizzlies!
We had a successful community assembly and alumni meet and greet this week also. In attendance were our state superintendent, district superintendency, and other distinguished guests, alumni, and former faculty. At this production, we showed a video produced by our school’s A-staff. Here is a link to our school’s 90-year documentary for you to enjoy: https://youtu.be/gux0GmSnSiE
Lastly, we had a fun family carnival on Wednesday night. Included in Friday’s morning announcements (towards the end) is some footage of the event: https://youtu.be/Q8BGMX0y0D8.
This week, students begin their RISE Writing test. Please have your children get good sleep and come ready to do their best.
This Friday is midterms for 4th quarter.
Next Tuesday, April 30th, is a town hall hosted by Superintendent Bates at Cottonwood High School. Please see attached flyer for details.
Thanks,
Aaron Wilson
Principal
