Granite Park families, it has been an honor to work with your students this year. We have seen so much growth from our students and can’t wait for the new school year to start so we can continue to help your students. Please let us know if we can help in any way over the summer. Our office hours will be 8:00 am – 2:00 pm during the summer. We will also continue to send out school related information during the summer break.
Please make sure to follow us on social media. This is an easy and convenient way to follow the great things happening at Granite Park. Links to our social media can be found at the end of our newsletter.

Summer Learning opportunities for students
We have created a Secondary Summer Learning Calendar to support families in helping their teens continue to learn throughout the summer. We would love your help in getting the calendar out to families:).
What is it? The calendar contains daily reading suggestions as well as online practice & activities in reading, math, and science. There are also links to podcasts & audiobooks for teens that will keep their minds engaged and sharp!
How does it work? Use this link to access the calendar directly! There is also a Summer Learning icon located in CLEVER that will be easy for your families to access. Here is the link with directions on how families can access the program via CLEVER using a school computer or home device. You will also see links to the following on the calendar:
• Granite Family On-Line Resources for Math & Reading
• Summer Reading Programs
• Summer Programs & Camps for teens
How you can help: We encourage you to share it out with your families in any way you see fit.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to our team in the FACE department: Shawn Neilson – sneilson@graniteschools.org, Alaina Wilcock – awilcock@graniteschools.org and Jodi Lusty – jklusty@graniteschools.org.”
