Participation in Adult Education is a privilege, not a guaranteed right. Students are expected to respect the learning environment, follow attendance requirements, and demonstrate professional conduct at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x2705; Expectations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">&#x1f552; Attendance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are expected to follow the program\u2019s attendance policy (removed after 5 absences). &#x274c;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excessive absences, tardiness, or leaving early may result in removal from the program. &#x26a0;&#xfe0f;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">&#x1f91d; Respectful Conduct<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students must treat staff and peers with respect. &#x1f64f;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviors will not be tolerated. &#x1f6ab;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">&#x1f4f1; Cell Phones and Electronic Devices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cell phones must be silenced and put away during class. &#x1f515;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texting, phone calls, or other electronic distractions are not permitted. &#x1f4f5;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">&#x1f393; Classroom Behavior<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are expected to fully participate in class activities and maintain focus on learning. &#x1f3af;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Side conversations, sleeping in class, or other distracting behaviors interfere with learning and are not acceptable. &#x1f634;&#x1f4ac;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x26a0;&#xfe0f; Consequences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who fail to follow these policies will be warned once by program staff. &#x26a0;&#xfe0f;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">Continued violations may result in dismissal from the classroom or suspension from the program.<\/span> &#x274c;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serious behavior issues will result in immediate removal from Adult Education with no option for re-enrollment for the remainder of the term. &#x1f6a8;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x270d;&#xfe0f; Acknowledgment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Enrollment in Adult Education requires agreement to these expectations.
