Scholarship Application<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nAnnouncing the New Concurrent Enrollment Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nWant to make your students’ hard work in high school work hard for them? It does at the U! We think that students who challenge themselves with college-level courses deserve not just the college credit, but a scholarship. Utah students with 9 credit hours of transferrable concurrent enrollment or High School University Program<\/a> credits could be eligible for the Concurrent Enrollment Scholarship worth $3,000 per year, renewable for four years\u2014plus, a campus employment option!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFirst year freshman applicants for 2024 automatically qualify for the Concurrent Enrollment Scholarship if they<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- are a Utah resident;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- submit their University of Utah application and any supporting documents by April 1;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by August 1;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- demonstrate financial need, based on the FAFSA;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- maintain a 3.2 unweighted GPA in high school;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- earn at least 9 hours of transferrable concurrent enrollment or High School University Program credits with letter grades of B- or better;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- have no other grant or scholarship assistance from federal, state, or university merit sources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Best of all, no additional application is necessary. If your student qualifies, we will notify them this summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
