Our program gives young adults the chance to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Speak up for themselves<\/strong> and become confident self-advocates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Explore community resources<\/strong> they can use every day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Learn job readiness skills<\/strong> to prepare for future work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enjoy recreation and leisure activities<\/strong> with friends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grow independence<\/strong> in ways that fit their own goals and needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"color:#ddd\" class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-spacer gb-block-spacer gb-divider-solid gb-divider-size-1\"><hr style=\"height:30px\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GTS includes four unique programs that work together to support students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Jones Center<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Jones Center Vocational Training (JCVT) site is designed to introduce students to the fields of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. Students focus on learning entry level technical and soft skills relevant to the Culinary Arts Industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GT Score<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GT Score focuses on increasing independence through: Self-Advocacy, Community, Occupation, Recreation, and Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GT Academics<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GTS Academics classes help students continue their academic learning with a focus on completing requirements toward a high school diploma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pathways to Independence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pathways focuses on career exploration, community resources, independent living skills, money management, and personal safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"color:#ddd\" class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-spacer gb-block-spacer gb-divider-solid gb-divider-size-1\"><hr style=\"height:30px\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Every student\u2019s journey looks different, and we\u2019re here to support each step along the way.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Granite Transition Services (GTS) At GTS, we help students build the skills they need for life after school.
