The School Community Council consists of the principal, school employees and parents. The majority of members are parents. Parents represent parent perspectives on issues and decisions made by the council. The input shared in the School Improvement Plan and in how School LAND Trust plans are spent affects all of the students at our school.
The Community Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 9:00 am in the Administrative Conference room at Hartvigsen School. We would invite all parents to join us to share ideas and input regarding the education of their child.
During the 2015-2016 School Year, the Hartvigsen LAND Trust Budget is $13,276.26. Parent voices of our student population are necessary to help determine the most vital areas to spend the funds we have been allotted. Parents may also bring issues of concern to the council seeking solutions. Open conversation is encouraged as we work together to create an exceptional school environment at Hartvigsen School. Roberts Rules of Order are used to organize discussion and votes.
