Our teachers actively participate in professional learning to continuously engage students in relevant learning opportunities. We foster a welcoming and safe learning environment for all who enter our school. We strive to engage families in their student&#8217;s learning by connecting families with resources, hosting family education events, and encouraging volunteers in the school.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hunter Elementary is located in the Hunter Area and was built in 1980. Hunter Elementary serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through sixth grade.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Demographics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>48% Hispanic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>43% Caucasian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6% Pacific Islander<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1% Asian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2% African-American<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1% Native American<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-gsdsc-icon\" style=\"margin-bottom:0px\"><span class=\"icon\" style=\"margin-right:6px\"><i class=\"far fa-clock\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span style=\"display:inline-block\">Students can be registered 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Student Promotion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Students promoted from Hunter will progress to Kennedy Junior High and then to Hunter High School.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hunter Elementary is located in the Hunter Area and was built in 1980.
