Good afternoon Wolverines!
We hope that each of you have enjoyed a happy and safe thanksgiving holiday weekend. We are very excited to welcome our in-person learners back to the school tomorrow, November 30th with 1A beginning at 7:30am. As the weather changes, we continue to encourage our students to leave earlier so that they may drive safely and still arrive on time.
We appreciate our teachers and students for participating in the Zoom meetings at the beginning of each class period during the recent school dismissal. The best way for students to achieve their academic goals and earn quality grades is to remain engaged (both in-person and distance learners). We still strongly encourage our distance learners to remain on the bell schedule as much as possible and complete learning tasks during the set period they would be taking the course if in-person. This is to help students remain on task and up to date on their courses.
Quarter 2 midterms will be posted by our wonderful teachers this Friday, December 4th. Midterm grades will then be made available through the Granite Portal and Gradebook the first part of the following week.
Parents, a reminder to please check the progress of your student’s work online. These are simple checks where your student can show you assignments they have submitted and upcoming class assessments on their course calendars. Please take the time this week before mid-terms to see and verify the work your students are submitting. Once again students, by staying on top of your work and taking ownership for your learning you may show all of us, and most importantly yourself, how responsible you can be.
We love you Wolverines and together we will carry on and be successful!
