The Granite School District Board of Education has approved the following schedule changes for secondary schools (junior highs and senior highs):
School year begins still on Monday, August 24th starting at 7:30am with their 1A class. For now, there will not be Late Start Mondays. Plan to arrive by 7:25am to be on time to your 1st period class.
All students will attend the normal A and B day classes as previously scheduled (see AB Schedule on the District website). The difference is that students will attend in-person at Hunter High Monday-Thursday.
Friday’s, for now, will be dedicated to online learning at home.
Teachers will be in the school building on Fridays working in professional learning communities and with students online. Students will be able to check out a Chromebook on the first day of school during their 1A class. Fridays, for now, will be spent at home by all students to complete their assignments for either their A or B day classes (today was an A Day so those classes probably had something due). Do you have to be up at 7:30am completing work? No, but this is your chance to show your maturity, be a self motivator and complete what is required of you.
As more information and changes come available, we will continue to post to our web page and social media accounts as we have done in the past.
