If you live outside of Hunter High School boundaries, but would like to attend Hunter High, a parent or guardian must complete an Open Enrollment Application (also called Special Permit). Applications for Open Enrollment are no longer available online. You must come into the main office of Hunter High and complete the application in person. The deadline for applications to be accepted for the 2022-23 school year is Feb. 18, 2022. If you completed an application for this past school year, but were not accepted, please come in and fill out another one for the 2022-23 school year if you are still interested in attending Hunter High. For students accepted for the 2022-23 school year, parents will be notified via the phone number or email listed on the application. Applications for acceptance are reviewed in the order they are received, so please apply as early as possible. We receive a lot of applications every year, so timing is important since applications are reviewed in the order received! Applications will not be reviewed and notifications of acceptance will not be sent out until after the application window closes on Feb 18, 2022. Please allow at least 30 days after the window closes to receive notifications of acceptance. If any application is denied, notification letters will be sent in the mail to the address listed on the application.
