During this time, seniors will be pulled out of their English classes to apply for college for free! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step-by-Step Guide:  <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1F5Osfy_VRbEL4jnF-eDJjOQhdPlowcN9s9c39de4CIA\/edit?usp=sharing\">How to Apply to College\u00a0(Google Document)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Always check each college\u2019s website for specific requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee waivers are available for CommonApp, Coalition, and many colleges (all Utah applications are FREE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start early\u2014especially competitive schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Common Application Sites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CommonApp<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accepted by many selective colleges and universities, including some Ivy League schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-QuestBridge National College Match<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Designed for high-achieving, low-income students applying to highly selective colleges (including schools like MIT, Stanford, Yale, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offers the opportunity to earn a full four-year scholarship through the National College Match\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application opens late summer\/early fall (earlier than most other applications)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extensive application (more detailed than CommonApp, includes multiple essays and financial information)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If not matched, students can still apply to partner schools through QuestBridge Regular Decision or convert to CommonApp\/Coalition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which Application Should I Use? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Applying to colleges in Utah?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply directly to schools.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1_SZyJYmeUBft0gNykI7LxUU0El1rJFK1NfftsoLDISY\/edit?usp=sharing\">Find your school\u2019s application site (Google Document)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Applying to a mix of colleges across the U.S.?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apply.commonapp.org\/login\">CommonApp<\/a>\u00a0(most widely accepted and easiest for multiple schools)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Applying to selective\/private colleges (including some Ivy League schools)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apply.commonapp.org\/login\">CommonApp<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coalitionforcollegeaccess.org\/\">Coalition Application<\/a>\u00a0(Tip: Most students should just stick with CommonApp unless a school specifically prefers Coalition)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-High-achieving student with significant financial need?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply through\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.questbridge.org\/\">QuestBridge<\/a>\u00a0FIRST (early fall)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then use CommonApp\/Coalition as a backup if not matched<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Send Transcripts Through Parchment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Students can send official transcripts through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/registration.parchment.com\/member\/7f3dc0b2-c65c-11ec-b52f-7b664fd52675\">Parchment<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Getting lost?
