Thank you parents for trusting us at Jackling Elementary with your most prized possessions. We promise to never take for granted our solemn responsibility to educate and nurture your precious children. This first week has been such a joy for us to see their smiling faces, hear their funny stories and meet their unique personalities.
By way of announcement – the last school day of every week is a planning day for teachers. Usually the last day is a Friday, but sometimes it’s a Thursday, or even a Wednesday. Planning days are indicated by a P on the calendar. We haven’t had a planning day schedule in nearly a year and a half, so the important thing to remember is that school dismisses early on planning days as follows:
Grades 1-5 and full day kindergarten classes dismiss at 12:50 p.m. tomorrow.
Half day kindergarten dismisses at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow.
