Dear Parents,
I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful spring weather that we all so finally need and deserve! Every Spring we see an increase in bullying as the weather changes and kids are more active outside. Your student’s classroom teacher is the best resource for you if your student is a victim of bullying or mean behavior.
The best way to anonymously and simultaneously report bullying to school administrators, law enforcement, and licensed mental health care providers is the SafeUT app. You can make a report here 24 hours a day: https://safeut.org/
The number one question I get asked is, “What is the school doing about bullying?” Here are some links that describe the anti-bullying programs we have been using this year:

For as much as we do, we can’t do it alone and we need your help. The bottom line is that we need to teach our children how to be kind and respond appropriately when they are experiencing tough emotions.
We will be discussing what we can all do TOGETHER to teach our children on Monday, April 17th at 3:30 p.m. in the Jackling media center. ALL parents are invited. I will be recording the meeting and live streaming it for those who can’t attend in person. I hope you will consider participating or watching the meeting and partnering with us to tackle these very difficult issues.
