Welcome to Jackling Elementary! I am honored to serve as the principal of this incredible school community. Over the past 20 years in Granite School District, I have had the privilege of working alongside amazing students, families, and educators, and I truly believe that relationships are the foundation of a great school.
At Jackling, we believe in every child, every family, and every staff member. We believe that kindness matters, hard work pays off, and together we can accomplish amazing things.
My goal is to ensure that every student feels safe, valued, challenged, and excited to come to school each day. I am passionate about creating a culture where students discover their strengths, teachers are supported, and families feel welcomed as important partners in their child’s education.
It is a privilege to be part of the Jackling Jaguar family. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we continue building a school where we all Believe in ourselves, in each other, and in the bright future ahead.

Bus Information
Track Your Bus from Your Smartphone
If you’re interested in obtaining a bus schedule, you need to contact the school or by using the Here Comes The Bus application.
Parents and students can now track their Granite School District bus on the Here Comes the Bus app, available on The App Store and Google Play.
This app shows the real-time location of your bus on a map, gives scheduled and actual arrival times for both home and school routes, and provides push and email notifications when the bus is near.
Here’s how to sign up:
- Download the Here Comes the Bus app from The App Store or Google Play.
- Tap Sign Up, then tap Continue.
- Tap I have the Code.
- Enter your email address, first name, last name, and school district code (29318). Accept the Terms and Conditions and tap Continue.
- Tap Confirm if Granite School District is displayed.
- Create your password.
- If successful, you will see a Thank You screen. From here, check your email inbox for a message from noreply@synovia.com. Open the email and click Activate My Account. Once completed, close the browser link. You may now open the app and sign in with your email address and newly created password.
Adding a Student:
- Once you’re signed in, tap the Student icon.
- Tap the Add Student button and enter their last name and student ID. Tap Submit.
- Repeat this process for additional students.
