State Covid-19 School Manual: https://coronavirus-download.utah.gov/School/COVID-19_School_Manual_FINAL.pdf
Parents,
We are excited to share with you this recently released handbook produced by the Utah State Board of Health. It is a COVID-19 School Manual with information and guidance that has shaped our return to school plans. This is a simplified version of the regulations and guidance we received earlier this year to help us develop our plans. It contains detailed information and scenarios that will address a myriad of your questions that fall within the purview of the Health Department.
Granite School District has and will continue to follow this guidance, as we proceed forward to the start of the new school year and beyond, to ensure student and staff safety. You can also find information concerning Granite’s Steps and Plans for a Safe School Year on our website. This link includes a list of frequently asked questions, short videos and other information that will continue to be updated frequently, and is a great resource to address your questions and concerns.
School specific plans will be posted on school websites by Friday, July 31st so please check those plans as well.
Additionally, we will be holding a general parent Q&A session on Wednesday, August 5, at 7:00 pm.. It will be streamed on our website at www.graniteschools.org and a link will emailed to all families after the event is over.
Please review the information contained in the above links and your school specific plans before submitting questions for this event as they will likely answer the majority of your questions. After reviewing that information, and If you still have a question, you may submit it to communications@graniteschools.org and we will attempt to address it during this Q&A.
Our mission during this time is to ensure that you and your family have the help and support necessary to thrive and grow academically, so please know that whatever decision you make as a family to utilize distance or in person instruction, that we are here to support you.
Thank you for your patience and support.
