What if everyone watching the Super Bowl gave one dollar to fight hunger and poverty in America? What if YOU were part of it? Granite School District is partnering with KUTV and SOUPER BOWL OF CARING to raise money for students in Granite School District who are hungry.
The Utah Food Bank has programs that feed hungry kids, but they need more money to expand them. You can feed a student for as little as $3.00 per weekend. The SOUPER BOWL OF CARING has helped schools, businesses and community groups raise thousands of dollars to fight hunger here in Utah.
Starting on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 Kearns Junior High students will have the opportunity to help. Each ADVISORY CLASS will be having a contest to see who can raise the most amount of money. All money donated will go towards helping students in our community.
