Granite School District has the privilege to host monthly Autism Parent Groups for approximately 30 families of school-aged students (preschool, elementary, and secondary) with an autism spectrum disorder. Our monthly trainings will be held from October to May of this school year. The 30 families will be selected on a lottery system and trained on tools, resources, and strategies to assist in their child’s success in the school, home, and community settings. Parents will benefit from connecting with and supporting each other. Students will participate in a structured childcare supervised by trained Granite staff. Family members and children will be supplied with dinner.
