Students learn that when we are in the \u201cgreen zone\u201d we are calm, cool, and ready to learn. This is the zone for learning.&nbsp; We teach students that when we are in the yellow zone, orange zone, and red zone we need to use our mindfulness skills to calm our bodies and get back to the green zone. Finally, we teach that when we are in the blue zone we need to move our body to help us wake up and get focused (unless we\u2019re sick and then we do need to rest!).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adapted\/Expanded by James E.
