Oakridge Vision/Purpose Survey

November 29, 2017C. DrummondSchool News

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the Oakridge School Community Council, it is our privilege and responsibility to allocate specific funds for the continued success and growth of our school. We take great pride in the many accomplishments of our school, and really want to make sure we are accurately representing our school community as we make our decisions.

Oakridge excels in so many areas! Our school provides excellent academic opportunities, as well as rich art, music, and dance programs. This past year, the council voted to allocate funds to create a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) room for teachers and students to use for hands-on experiences. We also used funds to purchase chrome books, providing better access to technology for our upper grade students.

We need YOUR input to make sure we are working to accomplish our school community’s vision for our school. Would you take a short survey to help us know that we are focusing on the appropriate things?  Here is the link to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5QD3J38

The information from the survey will help us understand YOUR goals for your child and the school as a whole. We will then use those answers to inform the goals we as a council set for student growth and the special programs we financially support.

YOUR answers are confidential. Your answers will be combined with those of other parents. No one will be told how you answered. This survey is voluntary. You do NOT have to answer any question if you do not want to, but we hope you will answer as many questions as you can.

THANK YOU for the many things you do to make Oakridge the amazing place it is!

Sincerely,

The Oakridge School Community Council
