To create a blended school community where all families have confidence their students will have an abundance of opportunities and the excellent academic experience Oakwood is known for whether they participate in our traditional program or Chinese DLI program.

Oakwood is and will continue to be a high performing traditional school with a Chinese DLI program.

If my student is currently at Spring Lane, do I need to enroll at Oakwood Elementary School?

No, you will not need to enroll at Oakwood. Students’ records currently attending Spring Lane Elementary will roll over to Oakwood Elementary in Spring 2023. Students in the newly form boundary will not need to complete an open enrollment application.

If your student will be 5 years old by September 1, 2023 then you will need to enroll for kindergarten. Select here for Kindergarten information.

Opening of Chinese Dual Language Immersion Application – December 7 – February 3

Chinese DLI Parent Night – January 10th @ 6pm

For all parents and students interested in joining the Chinese DLI program at Oakwood Elementary for the 2023-24 school year. The program is available to all students currently enrolled in another Chinese DLI program (grades 1-5) and any new students going into 1^st or 2^nd grade.

Here is the link to survey (January 23rd – February 3rd)
Going out to all current Spring Lane and Oakwood students to help determine enrollment numbers for next school year.

Information from this questionnaire will help the school to:
- Determine class sizes and teacher assignments
- Plan school financial budgets to best fit our school’s needs
- Give our teachers information to plan for their next year’ students
