I absolutely love teaching! I have had the privilege of working in a variety of classrooms, including preschool at Cottonwood High School, 5th grade at Amelia Earhart Elementary, and 1st and 4th grade here at Oakwood Elementary. My favorite part of teaching is sharing my favorite books with students and helping foster a lifelong love of reading and learning.<\/p>\r\n

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, skiing (both snow and water skiing), boating, playing piano, and practicing calligraphy. I also love staying active and creative through hobbies that bring joy and balance to my life.<\/p>\r\nMy favorite thing about Oakwood is building relationships and creating lasting memories with students each day.\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tI have been teaching for 15 years! All of those years have been with K-8 students who need extra social emotional learning needs (SEL). I love teaching here at Oakwood in the lower grade SEL unit. Little kids are my favorite to teach. I am so grateful to be part of the Oakwood community! Since 2022, I have worked as a Special Education Resource teacher, and I love supporting students as they learn, grow, and achieve their goals.<\/p>\r\n

When I\u2019m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my puppy, traveling with my husband, and taking Pilates classes. Whether I\u2019m exploring a new destination or enjoying a quiet day at home, I value the time I spend with the people I love most.<\/p>\r\nMy favorite thing about Oakwood is the welcoming staff, students, and families. The strong sense of community and support makes Oakwood a wonderful place to work, and I am proud to be an Owl!\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
