We currently have Chromebook carts distributed through out the school, one for each classroom.<br>Classrooms are also equipped with voice enhanced (amplified) systems. All classrooms have optical document readers and light boxes. Each classroom has interactive smartboard technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oakwood students experience weekly art lessons with a part time art specialist. We also participate monthly with the &#8220;Meet the Masters&#8221; program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Student promotion<\/b><br>Students who graduate from Oakwood are promoted to Bonneville Junior High and then off to Cottonwood High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Extracurricular programs<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Physical education specialist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gold Medal School<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chess Club<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owl Chorale (choir)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet the Masters Art Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community of Caring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Council<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety Patrol<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Riverton Music Band and Orchestra<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KidStage (drama)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The New Oakwood Elementary <\/strong><br>Oakwood has been beautifully rebuilt into a modern, well-designed school.
