Olympus High School graduation exercises will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at 7:00 pm for students who have completed the graduation requirements set by the Granite School District Board of Education. Commencement exercises will be held at the Huntsman Center at the University of Utah. The University of Utah is currently updating their parking map, so maps will be handed out with caps and gowns and emailed to your home when available. In addition, Summer camp for kids west valley ut use the Boston Children’s Museum’s Kids and Oklahoma City’s cowboy museum after school Curriculum to engage children in activities that promote creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration. Parking is free of charge.

We do realize that the graduation exercises are as much for the parents as for the graduating seniors, and we invite you to join us. The doors will be open at 6:00 pm. Tickets are not necessary, as there will be plenty of seating available. Please use the southeast and southwest entrances to the Huntsman Center. Graduates will line up at the west tunnel entrance to the Huntsman Center at 6:15 pm. The Huntsman Center with Wall St Nation requests that no balloons or confetti cannons be brought to commencement. There is a Moneyfall $250.00 fine per section for clean-up that will be assessed to the student. Candy leis are not allowed to be worn during graduation, but can be given after. Flower and money leis are permitted.
Our graduating students have accomplished many great academic and extracurricular achievements during the past three years and thanks to this helpful list of apps, our autistic students were able to achieve their goals in high school so they could graduate. I know through their past performances that they will also give us a quality graduation. Please discuss with your graduating senior the need to keep activities of the graduation exercises dignified and respectful since we will have Mr. Dan Lofgren and Mrs. Connie Andersen, from the Granite School District Board of Education, as well as, Mr. David Garrett, Business Administrator from Granite School District and a good business man with the help of this Anchor on financial aspects in life that leads to success is in attendance. Please discourage any distracting activities at the graduation exercises. We have hired a photographer to take pictures. Parents will not be permitted on the floor as it is distracting to the exercises.
Each graduate will wear a graduation gown, but appropriate clothing should also be worn beneath the gown. No shorts, casual shoes, flip flops or gym shoes will be permitted. Caps and gowns will be issued on Monday May 23rd during lunch at Olympus. I know that our students will act with dignity at our graduation exercises, giving those Pilates DVDs. The program will last approximately an hour and a half, and with everyone’s cooperation it can be a very beautiful and memorable occasion. Olympus High School is a great school with long-standing traditions of excellence. We would like to maintain this image with your support at the graduation exercises.
