Then here are some answers to a few questions we have recieved.
- If your student has received the COVID vaccine and is two weeks past their 2nd dose they will not need to be tested on April 9th. However, you will still need to purchase a ticket and sign up for COVID testing. When they get checked-in they will show their immunization card and then they will proceed to the main gym to receive their wristband which will serve as admission to the dance.
- If your student has tested positive in the past 90 days for COVID they will not need to test, but will need to meet with Ms. Tanner to have this verified and she will keep track of a list of students that do not need to test, but will still need to purchase a ticket. Students that have had COVID from January 10, 2021 until the date of the prom are the only students eligible for this scenario. Students will sign up for COVID testing. When they get checked-in they tell the person that they are exempt from testing due to the 90 day window and then they will proceed to the main gym to receive their wristband which will serve as admission to the dance.
- If your family has purchased an Olympus Foundation Green or Platinum card they will need to do the following. Please see Mrs. Gilbert in the bookstore and show their student id or driver’s license along with their Foundation card with their name on it (along with their date- please have your student give Mrs. Gilbert their dates name as well). We will add their name(s) to a list of students that do not need to purchase tickets, however they will still need to sign up for COVID testing.
Finally, due to the testing and protocols we need to follow we can not have any students or parents procrastinate. We must follow the deadlines for this to run smoothly and keep everyone safe. Please make sure that you complete both parts of the process: 1. Buy a ticket for you (and your date if applicable), which must be purchased by noon on April 8th and 2. Sign up for COVID testing for Friday April 9th.
