He enjoyed seeing students take pride in themselves and their community through participating in extra curricular and service oriented activities. &nbsp;In Mark&#8217;s eyes, every student had the potential to do amazing things regardless of what their passions may have been. &nbsp; Mark&#8217;s philosophy was that all extracurricular activities were important and had the ability to help students develop attributes that allow them to better serve the community. &nbsp;This scholarship&#8217;s goal is to recognize a student who has taken pride in themselves and their community and shown that pride through participating in extra curricular and service oriented activities.
