Sub for Santa Reward
Sports Teams and Holiday
Students, thank you for all of your donations. We have met our $815 goal. This is an information sheet on the dress-up days that you won by meeting the $400 and $815 goals for Sub for Santa. Please read the details for each dress-up theme day to make sure you are in compliance with the dress code.
Dec.17 – Tuesday Sports Teams Day – Team shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys and hats with team logos are allowed. Sweat bottoms may also be worn if they have the team logo on the sweat bottoms. Sport shorts are allowed but must be dress code length. Also, all shirts and jerseys must have sleeves. You must wear a t-shirt underneath the jersey or shirt if there are no sleeves. Blue jeans are also allowed as part of Sports Teams Day. Sports teams’ hats must not be disruptive to learning. No pajamas.
Dec. 19 – Thursday Holiday Day – Holiday and winter hats, holiday clothing, scarves and shoes allowed. Any appropriate holiday or winter patterns allowed. Blue jeans are also allowed. No pajamas. Modesty standards apply. We will be having a crazy holiday sweater contest, holiday socks contest and holiday hat contest during lunch with Café Rio gift cards as prizes.
Dress-up outfits must connect to each day’s theme; Dress-up days are NOT an excuse to wear just anything. All normal dress code rules regarding modesty (no visible underwear, no exposed midriff, no cleavage, proper length of skirts and shorts, etc.) and safety (chains, pins, gang insignia/colors, etc.) will be enforced.
Unless a logo is a direct part of an outfit (example: a sports team’s logo on Sports Day), logos are not allowed.
