\n\t\t\t\tMichael Douglas earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in education from the University of Utah and later earned a master\u2019s degree in educational administration and supervision.\r\n\r\nMr. Douglas has been an educator since 2005. He began his career as a social studies teacher at Cyprus High School, where he taught for seven years before entering school administration.\r\n\r\nThroughout his career, Mr. Douglas has served as an assistant principal, elementary school principal, high school principal, district principal supervisor, director of student assessment, and junior high school principal. Before coming to Olympus Junior High, he served as interim principal of Bonneville Junior High School.\r\n\r\nMr. Douglas is passionate about building positive school cultures where students feel safe, connected, supported, and challenged to achieve at high levels. He works hard to ensure that decisions are based on what is best for students. He believes school leaders and educators should follow the guiding principle: \u201cThe Student First and Always.\u201d<\/strong>\r\n\r\nHe is married to his wife, Lindsay, and they have three children. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, working on home and vehicle projects, music, and supporting student activities and athletics.\r\n\r\nMr. Douglas is honored and excited to serve as the principal of Olympus Junior High School and looks forward to working with students, families, teachers, staff, and community members to make Olympus one of the best schools in America.\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  • Has been an educator since 1999.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Mr. Hutchins taught PE at Skyline High School.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • He was the Head volleyball coach at Skyline from 1999-2017.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • He then was a counselor at Skyline until 2017 when he entered administration.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • His first assignment was at Granite Park Junior High where he spent 1 year.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • He spent 5 years at Taylorsville High as an administrator.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • Mr. Hutchins is an avid University of Utah supporter. He is the lead statistician for basketball, and volleyball and works on the football stats crew.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • He also does shot clock for the Utah Jazz.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • He is married and has 3 children.<\/li>\r\n \t
  • He loves to see students learn and make good choices.<\/li>\r\n \t
