Orchard Families
Red Ribbon Week starts on Tuesday. Attached is the flyer for what students can wear as we focus on making safe and healthy choices.
Our Halloween parade will occur on Tuesday, October 31, at 9:00 a.m. The parade will be held outside. The drop-off lane will be blocked off at 8:45 a.m. for an hour so the students can walk through safely. Parade watchers will be sitting on the grass or in the driveway, so plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Please remember that because the parade is taking place outside, you will want to ensure that you and your child are dressed for the weather. (In the event of rainy or snowy weather, the parade will be canceled.) Students should come to school wearing their costumes and ready for the parade. Also, remember that no masks or weapons (real or pretend) are allowed for students or parents, and they should all adhere to the school dress code.
Some teachers may have classroom parties after the parade. Check with your child’s teacher before October 31 to see if they need help.
