As we begin a new school year, it can be challenging for students to return to the school routine. However, when students miss a day here and there, it makes it harder on them because they aren’t sticking to a routine. If your child is having difficulty coming to school, please get in touch with our front office to schedule an appointment with our school social worker so we can help get them into a good routine.
Our family center will open next week. Our family connector is Ms. Loera, and she will be starting some parent classes beginning on September 3. If you have any questions about her classes, you can contact her at jiloera@graniteschools.org
Over the next few weeks, students will learn about Respect in their classroom. One way to think about Respect is “seeing value in all people and things & treating them with care.” Many people feel Respected in different ways. We hope this month inspires discussions with your family about what Respect means to you and how you can practice it together!
