Panorama Survey Information for Families

Students are important partners in our efforts to improve our communication, academic program and overall educational experience. In order to learn more about what students need to thrive, we will be asking for your child’s feedback via an online survey given three times a year that will be completed at school. Your student’s feedback will provide valuable insight into their experiences and help our district and school adapt to meet their needs.

The survey will ask students to self-reflect on their social skills, dispositions, and emotions, as well as the support that they receive in and outside of the classroom. You can preview the survey content using the links below:

Skills and Dispositions: Grades 3-5
Skills and Dispositions: Grades 6-12
Supports and Environment: Grades 3-5
Supports and Environment: Grades 6-12

If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, or doesn’t wish to answer, they will be able to skip the item altogether. Educators who work with your child will be able to see self-reported areas of strength and areas for growth.

Please check the box next to the survey titled, Early Warning Survey, in the registration materials to provide permission for your child to participate in this survey.

We are partnering with a third-party vendor, Panorama Education, to support in administering these surveys in Utah since 2017. Panorama Education is USBE endorsed and complies with R277-115,  LEA Supervision and Monitoring Requirements of Third Party Providers, and has been used in Utah since 2017.  This survey platform meets the requirements of 2017  H.B. 404, Early Warning Pilot Program and subsequent amendments.

If you have questions after reviewing the survey, you can contact the College and Career Readiness Department at 385-646-4645 or sbell@graniteschools.org.

Thank you
