Penn students and families are invited to join us for a fun and safe walk or bike ride to school!
Wednesday, October 8th
- Meet-up location: Valley View Stake Park (3570 S. 2000 E.)
- Meet at: 8:15 a.m.
- Departures:
- Walkers leave at 8:25 a.m. (escorted by school staff & Safety Patrol)
- Bikers leave at 8:30 a.m. (escorted by UPD officers in cars & on motorcycles)
- Why we do it:
- Encourage physical activity
- Teach safe walking and biking habits
- Raise awareness about community walkability and bikeability
- Support a cleaner environment by reducing traffic and pollution
- Build community with families, staff, and local leaders
